Area Business Manager (ABM)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, guide, and motivate a team of Medical Representatives to achieve business objectives.
• Drive sales performance and meet/exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
• Implement marketing and promotional strategies to maximize market penetration.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with doctors, hospitals, chemists, and stockists.
• Monitor competitor activities and provide market insights to management.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, reporting systems, and compliance standards.
• Conduct regular fieldwork with team members for training, coaching, and business development.
• Review team performance through structured meetings and reporting.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Graduate in Science/Pharmacy/Commerce (MBA preferred).
• 4–7 years of pharmaceutical sales experience with at least 1–2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and local market dynamics (East/North- East Region Preferred)
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze sales data, strategize, and execute plans effectively.
• High level of accountability, discipline, and result orientation.
