Area Business Head

BUSINESS HEAD -- KOZHIKODE AND ERNAKULAM

1. Educational Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance or a related field.

2. Professional Qualification : MBA/PGDM in Sales and Marketing or Finance.

3. 7 + years of experience in sales, marketing or business development preferably in chit funds, NBFCs or financial services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development:

· Develop strategies to increase customer acquisition and revenue growth.

· Identify potential markets, prospects, and new business opportunities.

· Ensure monthly/quarterly/half yearly/yearly sales targets for subscriptions are achieved.

2. Operational Management:

· Supervise branch operations and monitor day-to-day activities.

· Ensure smooth execution of chit auctions.

· Implement and monitor adherence to company policies and processes.

3. Team Management:

· Recruit, train, and manage branch managers, sales teams, and direct/collection agents.

· Set targets, evaluate performance, and motivate teams to achieve goals.

· Conduct regular team and Agent meetings to address challenges and provide updates.

4. Recovery and Collections:

· Oversee collection activities to minimize defaults and recover outstanding dues.

· Collaborate with recovery teams to handle defaulters effectively.

· Maintain healthy collection efficiency ratios.

5. Customer Relationship Management:

· Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure retention.

· Address and resolve customer complaints and grievances promptly.

· Educate customers about chit schemes, processes, and benefits.

6. Compliance and Risk Management:

· Ensure all operations comply with chit fund regulations and company policies.

· Manage documentation and records related to auctions, payments, and legal compliance.

· Identify and mitigate operational and financial risks.

7. Market Analysis and Reporting:

· Conduct market research to understand competitors and market trends.

· Prepare and submit weekly reports on business performance, sales, and collections.

· Provide insights and recommendations for growth strategies.

8. Marketing and Promotion:

· Implement marketing plans to promote chit schemes and increase enrolments.

· Organize promotional events, campaigns, customer meetings and Agent meetings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
