Job Title: API Testing

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test plans aligned with design and testing requirements.

• Create clear and concise documentation, including user manuals, API documentation, and training materials.

• Design test cases to ensure software behaves as expected and execute tests to verify requirements are met.

• Provide detailed reports throughout the software life cycle, estimating time and effort for tasks and features.

• Configure test environments for consistency, automate repetitive tasks using existing frameworks, and participate in reviews to enhance product quality and testability.

• Investigate and resolve problems collaboratively with Engineering and Consulting teams.

• Ability to handle multiple projects and switch quickly and comfortably between projects.

• Debug and reproduce issues in customer labs or local environments upon request.

• Work on additional tasks and responsibilities that will contribute towards team, department and company goals; perform other tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software testing experience.

• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking and experience working in Unix/Linux environments.

• Familiarity with web services API testing and test approaches (JSON, SOAP, REST, etc.).

• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and switch

between them comfortably.

• Professional experience in authoring documentation, test cases, test reports, and defect reports.

• Experience with issue tracking systems like JIRA, RTC, and Salesforce.

• Familiarity with software development life cycles (SDLC), including waterfall and agile

methodologies.
