API Testing (REST & SOAP)

 ✅ Tools: Postman, SOAP UI, Swagger

 ✅ Test Case Design & Execution

 ✅ JIRA for defect tracking and sprint planning

 ✅ JSON / XML validation

 ✅ CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins – optional but common)

 ✅ Basic scripting (JavaScript, Groovy – for automated test flows in Postman/SOAP UI)

API Test Engineer

• Focuses specifically on testing REST/SOAP APIs.
• Uses Postman, SOAP UI, Swagger, JMeter, etc.

E-Invoicing QA Engineer

• Specialized in testing e-invoicing platforms (e.g., Peppol, GSTN, SAP Ariba).
• Ensures tax compliance and document validation via APIs.

Manual + API Tester

• Involves functional testing as well as deep API testing.
• Suits testers who use tools like JIRA, Postman, and SOAP UI but don’t do full automation.

Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer – API Focus

• General QA role with emphasis on API validation, defect tracking, and documentation.
• Can expand into automation later (e.g., with RestAssured, Karate, etc.)

Integration Test Engineer
