Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with 8- 12 years of experience to lead the translation of business and user needs into structured, actionable, and technically sound functional requirements for our next-generation healthcare platform.This role will play a pivotal part in aligning Product, Design, and Technology teams and ensuring a shared understanding of platform vision, workflows, and implementation paths.The ideal candidate will possess deep platform thinking, outstanding documentation skills, and the ability to communicate seamlessly across business, product, and engineering teams.You will drive clarity across the full development lifecycle and ensure that both internal stakeholders and external clients (B2C & B2B) have access to high-quality product documentation.This is a strategic and hands-on role within a growing technology organization that is building a multi-tenant SaaS platform serving individual consumers and enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

Bridge Between Product, Design & Technology :

  • Serve as the connective tissue between cross-functional teams translating business requirements and user journeys into detailed, testable functional specs.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineering leads to ensure delivery fidelity.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies including grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives; ensure user stories are accurately captured and ready for development.

Deep Platform Understanding (SaaS | B2C + B2B) :

  • Develop a nuanced understanding of the platforms technical architecture, data flow, and configuration layers.
  • Analyze behavior across different personas and deployment contexts including consumer users, enterprise admins, and support teams.
  • Map out end-to-end platform workflows across frontend, backend, and third-party systems.

World-Class Documentation Ownership

  • Lead and manage all critical documentation efforts internal and external :
  • Internal (engineering-facing) : BRDs, FRDs, userstories, workflow diagrams, wireframe annotations, API specs.
  • External (client-facing) : User guides, onboarding journeys, SOPs, configuration manuals, implementation playbooks.
  • Maintain a living knowledge base that is version-controlled, traceable, and aligned with the product
roadmap.
  • Promote a documentation-first culture enabling clarity, reducing ambiguity, and enhancing cross-team collaboration.

Strategic & Product-Aligned Thinking

  • Collaborate on feature planning, roadmap structuring, and prioritization based on business goals and technical feasibility.
  • Drive reusability and standardization of platform components, permission models, and documentation templates.
  • Support scaling efforts with modular feature design and extensible documentation frameworks that evolve with the Qualifications :
  • 8- 12 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or Product Analyst in a technology-driven environment.
  • Experience in SaaS, healthcare tech, fintech, or platform-based products catering to both B2C and B2B segments.
  • Proven track record of owning and delivering structured documentation for both internal development and external client needs.
  • Expertise in agile methodologies, user story creation, backlog grooming, and end-to-end requirement lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of multi-tenant SaaS architecture, modular design, configuration management, and role-based access models.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage deeply with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Hands-on proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, Figma, Lucid chart/Draw.io, or similar tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to customer support ecosystems, help center content, or CMS/LMS tools.
  • Experience documenting APIs, backend integrations, and data flows.
  • Familiarity with enterprise onboarding, admin console configurations, or enterprise support documentation.
  • Understanding of healthcare domain workflows or health data structures (regulated or non-regulated).
