Job Description

Analog Mixed Signal (AMS) Verification Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute
AMS verification plans
, strategies, and testbenches.
Verify analog and mixed-signal IPs such as ADCs, DACs, PLLs, SerDes, and power management blocks.
Collaborate with
design and modeling teams
to ensure behavioral models align with circuit-level designs.
Perform
co-simulation
of analog and digital environments using Verilog-AMS, SystemVerilog, and SPICE models.
Develop automated regression test environments for continuous verification.
Debug and analyze simulation results, identify issues, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve them.
Contribute to
model validation
,
coverage analysis
, and
sign-off reports
.

Skills:

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree

3+ years
of relevant experience in AMS verification.
Strong hands-on experience with
Verilog-AMS
,
SystemVerilog
, and
SPICE
.
Proficiency with
simulation tools
such as
Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, Xcelium, Synopsys CustomSim, or Mentor Questa ADMS
.
Understanding of
analog circuit fundamentals
— op-amps, comparators, ADC/DAC, etc.
Experience with
UVM for AMS
,
real number modeling (RNM)
, and
mixed-signal co-simulation
.
Familiarity with
Scripting languages
(Python / Perl / TCL) for automation.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Good to have:

Experience with
low-power mixed-signal SoCs
.
Knowledge of
behavioral modeling and abstraction techniques
.
Exposure to
EDA flow automation
and
continuous integration systems
.
