Job Description

AI Product Engineer

This role is about driving meaningful outcomes — designing cohesive product workflows and user experiences that maximize trust, security, and operational efficiency. Engineers in this position empower stakeholders across the platform, ensuring every capability adds measurable value to our users and partners.

You will own the complete product lifecycle:

- Mapping user flows and designing cross-feature workflows

- Crafting technical specifications and developing production-grade code

- Collaborating across disciplines—product, behavioral science, red teams—to ensure every workflow fits into the larger platform narrative.

Your role will split evenly:

50% documentation and product design:

50% hands-on engineering:

Key Responsibilities

Product & User Workflow Design

- Design product workflows and user journeys, ensuring seamless transitions across the platform

- Map out end-to-end user interactions, analyst workflows, and compliance approval chains

- Deliver intuitive experiences and solutions that serve broader business and user needs

Product Architecture & Documentation

- Lead technical documentation—specs, architecture, migration strategies, compliance and audit flows

- Define database schemas, API contracts, workflow diagrams, and user journey docs

AI & Intelligence Layer

- Build AI microservices and agentic workflows for anomaly detection, risk scoring, and behavioral analysis

Frontend & Application Layer

- Build production-ready React + Tailwind dashboards and rule interfaces (policy editor, fraud rule builder)

- Document and design seamless analyst and compliance partner UX

Backend & Infrastructure

- Architect APIs and data pipelines integrating identity, fraud, and compliance signals

- Model database tables and migrations across Postgres, ClickHouse, Redis, Activepieces, and vector DBs

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have Skills

- Experience designing complete product/user workflows—not just individual features

- Proven technical writing/documentation (user flows, technical architecture, compliance plans)

- 4–5 years full stack/backend engineering, 3+ years AI/ML and documentation

- Python, FastAPI, JavaScript/TypeScript proficiency, with production ML pipeline experience

- Deep understanding of REST APIs, WebSockets, event-driven architecture

- Familiarity with authentication/authorization, fraud detection, and risk management

Plus/Nice-to-Have Skills

- Policy engine, risk platform (like Feedzai, Biocatch, Behaviosec), and LLM/GraphDB experience

- Enterprise automation, zero-trust and decentralized identity, open-source agent frameworks, workflow design tools

We want holistic thinkers—engineers who see the big picture, design workflows that flow across features and teams, and document every piece for clarity and scale. Your work will define how K Protect works for users and analysts, from end to end.
