Role Overview

AI Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of algorithm engineers, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
• Develop infrastructure to support scalable deployment and execution of algorithms.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, data scientists, and product managers.
• Optimize algorithms for performance, scalability, and efficient resource utilization.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in AI, ML, DL, and algorithm engineering to integrate innovative technologies.
• Drive improvements in tools, methodologies, and development processes.
  

Must-Have Qualifications

• Ph.D. with 6+ years of industry experience, OR
• M.Tech with 8+ years of experience, OR
• B.Tech with 10+ years of experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Managerial role (Team Lead experience alone will not qualify).
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Python, C++, or CUDA.
• 8+ years of experience in Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Deep Learning (DL).
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Image Processing and Computer Vision.
• Prior experience in a product-based company is mandatory.
• Proven track record of long-term organizational stability (minimum 2 years in a company).
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in semiconductor, electrical, or hardware manufacturing domains.
• Experience working with machine learning libraries/frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn.
• Familiarity with high-performance computing, parallel programming, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with GPU architectures, containers like Docker/Apptainer, and algorithm deployment toolkits.
• Candidates from Tier-1 institutions (IITs, NITs, IIITs, VIT) are preferred.
• CGPA of 8+ is a plus.
  

Work Environment & Additional Details

• Location: Chennai (Relocation is mandatory; relocation expenses will be covered).
• Work Model: Hybrid (3 days per week from office).
• Interview Process: 3 technical rounds, 1 fitment round, followed by an HR round.
