Role Overview

Junior AI Engineer

LangChain, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Vector Databases

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered features and microservices.
Work with
LangChain
and similar frameworks to implement RAG pipelines.
Integrate
vector databases
(e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, Milvus) into scalable architectures.
Write clean, modular, and well-documented
Python
code.
Collaborate with the full-stack team to integrate AI components into applications (React/Next.js frontend, Flask/FastAPI backend).
Deploy and manage models/applications on
AWS
and other cloud environments (nice to have).
Research and experiment with new AI/LLM techniques to improve performance.
Debug, optimize, and test AI pipelines for reliability and scalability.
Take
ownership
of features from conception to deployment, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong programming skills in Python
.
Experience with
LangChain
(or similar LLM frameworks).
Understanding of
Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
architectures.
Hands-on experience with
vector databases
(Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, Milvus, etc.).
Familiarity with
LLM APIs
(OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.).
Basic knowledge of
machine learning
concepts, embeddings, and prompt engineering.
Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to
take ownership
of deliverables.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

Exposure to
Full-stack development
(React/Next.js, Flask/FastAPI).
Familiarity with
AWS
(Lambda, S3, ECS, EC2, RDS).
Knowledge of
MLOps tools
(Docker, CI/CD, model monitoring).
Experience with
Neo4j or graph databases
.
Prior work on
chatbots, NLP, or information retrieval systems
.
