Job Title: AFC Senior Engineer
Location: Pune, India
Role Description
Engineer is responsible for managing or performing work across multiple areas of the bank's overall IT Platform/Infrastructure including analysis, development, and administration. You’ll be familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile practices and able to translate requirements into technical solutions whilst communicating effectively both in and outside your team.Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Bank division is a leading provider of cash management, trade finance and securities finance. Your Key Responsibilities
- Engineer is responsible for managing or performing work across multiple areas of the bank's overall IT Platform/Infrastructure including analysis, development, and administration
- Ensures software code developed that matches the software design and business requirements with appropriate quality and performance standards
- Ensures best practices and lessons learned are being followed in the software development process
- Participating in industry forums to drive adoption of innovative technologies, tools and solutions in the Bank.
- Working with Product Manager and Product Owner on architectural roadmap
- Create integration environment, testing and deployment strategies for the Application
- Ensuring quality and timely delivery against demand
- Manage scope of deliveries, expectations and ensure clear and concise communication to all stakeholders
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with team culture
- Work with multiple, distributed teams, leveraging resources across teams
Your Skills And Experience
- Strong knowledge of Windows, UNIX/Linux operating systems and networking/infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of Web/Application servers (Tomcat)
- Working knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift, Helm
- Working Knowledge on Database & Monitoring basics
- Strong knowledge of Programming / scripting for automation (Shell)
- Basic Java knowledge
- Experience with Agile/SCRUM environment.
- Familiar with Agile Team management tools (JIRA,Bitbucket,Confluence,TeamCity,Artifactory)
- Good communication skills
- Pro-active team player
- Comfortable working in multi-disciplinary, self-organized teams
