Job Title: Head of Admissions
Department: Admissions
Location: Sri Krishna Institute of Technology, chikkabanavara, Bangalore

Reporting To: Management

Job Summary:

The Head of Admissions is responsible for developing and executing a robust admissions strategy to ensure annual enrollment targets are met. This role involves overseeing the admissions team, managing lead generation and conversion processes, coordinating outreach activities, and maintaining excellent communication with prospective students and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Admissions Coordination:
  • Handle and track all student enquiries (online, offline, phone, walk-ins).
  • Maintain enquiry and admission records in the ERP system.
  • Coordinate with tele-callers and counselors for follow-ups and conversion.
  • Student Interaction:
  • Provide course and college information to prospective students and parents.
  • Address queries related to eligibility, documentation, and fees.
  • Assist students during the application and admission process.
  • Documentation & Compliance:
  • Collect and verify student documents as per admission requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with university, AICTE, and institutional admission policies.
  • Prepare student files and maintain admission-related data for audit purposes.
  • Reporting & Follow-Up:
  • Generate and maintain daily/weekly reports on enquiries and admissions.
  • Track source of enquiries and follow up with potential candidates.
  • Support in preparing admission status reports for management review.
  • Coordination & Support:
  • Coordinate with the accounts department for fee payment status.
  • Support in organizing admission campaigns, events, and open houses.
  • Liaise with external agencies or institutions when needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (any discipline); MBA or PG in Marketing / Administration preferred.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in college admissions, preferably in engineering institutions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with ERP or CRM systems.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills in English, Kannada, and Hindi.
