Job Description

Position Overview

The Head of Admissions is responsible for leading and managing the entire admissions process of the school, ensuring smooth enrollment of students in line with institutional policies, vision, and growth objectives. The role involves developing admission strategies, overseeing student recruitment, handling parent communications, and maintaining a professional and welcoming admission experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Strategy
  • Develop and implement effective admission policies, strategies, and annual enrollment plans.
  • Set admission targets in line with the school’s growth and ensure timely achievement.
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise the admissions team.
  • Admissions Process Management
  • Oversee the end-to-end admissions cycle including inquiries, applications, interviews, assessments, selection, and enrollment.
  • Ensure transparent and timely communication with prospective parents and students.
  • Coordinate with academic and administrative departments for smooth onboarding of new students.
  • Parent & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Conduct counseling sessions and school tours for prospective parents and students.
  • Build strong relationships with parents to establish trust and address queries effectively.
  • Act as the first point of contact for escalations regarding admissions.
  • Data Management & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate admission records and databases.
  • Prepare periodic reports on inquiries, conversions, and admissions trends for management.
  • Analyze data to improve admission processes and strategies.
  • Marketing & Outreach
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design campaigns, events, and open houses for student recruitment.
  • Represent the school at educational fairs, conferences, and promotional events.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with feeder schools, consultants, and other external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in admissions, preferably in a reputed school/educational institution.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and empathy.
  • Proficiency in data management systems, CRM tools, and MS Office.
  • Excellent organizational and presentation skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
