Job Summary: Admissions Counsellor – will be responsible for counselling doctors and surgeons regarding specialized medical training and upskilling programs offered by The Medicity. The role involves understanding the clinical background, career goals, and learning requirements of medical professionals, recommending the most suitable courses, and successfully converting inquiries into confirmed admissions. This position requires strong communication skills, consultative selling abilities, and a professional approach while interacting with healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities:Counsel doctors, surgeons, and medical professionals regarding available training, fellowship, diploma, and short-term upskilling programs. Understand each doctor’s specialization, experience, learning objectives, and career goals to recommend the most appropriate course. Provide accurate information on course structure, duration, hands-on exposure, fees, certification, and outcomes. Manage inbound and outbound leads through calls, emails, WhatsApp, and virtual meetings. Convert qualified leads into confirmed admissions and achieve assigned sales and revenue targets. Coordinate with academic, operations, and documentation teams for smooth onboarding and enrollment. Guide candidates through the registration, admission, payment, and documentation process. Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, conversions, and payments in the CRM or tracking system. Handle objections professionally and provide timely follow-ups to close admissions. Ensure compliance with institutional policies, ethical standards, and communication guidelines. Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales and activity reports as required. Build long-term relationships with doctors for referrals, repeat enrollments, and alumni engagement. Required Skills & Competencies: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong counseling, negotiation, and consultative sales abilities. Ability to understand medical training programs and explain them clearly. Professional demeanor while interacting with doctors and surgeons. Goal-oriented with a strong focus on closures and revenue generation. Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Excel, and basic reporting tools. Ability to work under targets and timelines. Qualifications & Experience: Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. 0–4 years of experience in admissions counseling, medical sales, healthcare training sales, or education consulting. Prior experience dealing with doctors, hospitals, or medical institutions will be an added advantage. Freshers with strong communication skills and interest in medical education sales may also be considered.
