Job Description

Key Responsibilities 1. School Campus Administration & Estate Management Oversee the entire school infrastructure to ensure smooth operations. Ensure optimal utilization, maintenance, and upkeep of campus facilities. Manage Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs), utility services, and vendors related to civil, electrical, and infrastructure works. Supervise and coordinate new constructions, renovations, and campus expansion projects. 2. Compliance & Liaison Ensure adherence to all statutory and regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., CBSE, Fire Department, Municipality, Police). Liaise with local authorities, government departments, and regulatory bodies as necessary. Maintain updated records and documentation in line with compliance norms. 3. Safety, Security & Discipline Implement and monitor safety, security, and emergency protocols across the campus. Lead and supervise the campus security team to ensure round-the-clock vigilance and discipline. Organize safety drills, fire preparedness sessions, and emergency response initiatives. 4. Housekeeping, Facilities & Services Supervise outsourced housekeeping services to maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards. Oversee the upkeep of classrooms, laboratories, washrooms, lawns, and other common areas. Ensure smooth functioning of utilities including water supply, electricity, and backup systems (generators, inverters). Oversee maintenance of office equipment and coordinate repairs. 5. Event Planning & Execution Plan, coordinate, and execute school-wide events such as annual functions, sports meets, cultural programs, workshops, and seminars. Collaborate with academic and administrative teams for smooth event execution. Manage event logistics, venue preparation, hospitality, and protocol arrangements. 6. Team Management Lead teams across estate, security, housekeeping, transport, and facility management. Implement team performance monitoring, discipline measures, and regular training. Foster a culture of efficiency, accountability, and professionalism. 7. Budget Management Develop and manage the administrative budget. Monitor expenses and identify cost-effective solutions without compromising quality. 8. Policy Development Draft and implement administrative policies and operational procedures. Ensure alignment with school goals and regulatory compliance. 9. Record Keeping & Documentation Maintain accurate digital and physical records including employee files, maintenance logs, and vendor contracts. Prepare and manage reports, memos, and official correspondence. Desired Profile Minimum Graduate. Proven experience in administration, facilities management, or a related leadership role—preferably in an educational institution. Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking capabilities. Demonstrated discipline, integrity, and a solution-oriented approach to problem-solving. Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with regulatory and statutory compliance relevant to educational institutions is a strong advantage. Compensation: Commensurate with experience and aligned with university norms.
