Job Description

The School Administrative Officer is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day administrative, operational, and support functions of the school. The role ensures smooth functioning of school operations, compliance with policies, and efficient coordination between departments, staff, parents, and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:1. Administration & Operations

  • Manage the overall administration of the school, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Supervise housekeeping, security, transport, and maintenance teams.
  • Monitor school assets, equipment, and infrastructure maintenance.
  • Coordinate procurement of stationery, uniforms, furniture, and other supplies.
  • Maintain records of attendance, staff registers, and statutory documents.
  • Handle vendor management and ensure timely service delivery.

Finance & Accounts Support

  • Assist in managing school budgets and expense tracking.
  • Process invoices, vendor bills, and petty cash disbursements.
  • Coordinate with the central accounts/finance team for payments and reimbursements.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure adherence to school policies, safety protocols, and statutory regulations.
  • Maintain fire safety, first aid, and emergency preparedness measures.
  • Oversee transport compliance — driver documents, vehicle maintenance, etc.

Event & Logistics Management

  • Plan and organize logistics for school functions, meetings, PTMs, and examinations.
  • Coordinate venue, materials, catering, and housekeeping support for events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Administration, Management, or Commerce).
  • Minimum 3–7 years of experience in administration, preferably in an educational institution.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic ERP/school management systems.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
