The Administrative Assistant for Teleradiology Services plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of teleradiology services. This position involves providing administrative support and coordinating communications between radiologists and healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented. Key Responsibilities: Scheduling & Coordination: Coordinate with radiology consultants and clients for smooth radiology reporting. Maintain client & Radiologist relationships. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of Radiology reports and patient data for teleradiology interpretation. Manage incoming requests for reporting services and provide timely responses. Documentation Management: Maintain weekly KPI reports for their clients. Maintain and share daily scan reporting sheets with clients and the manager to ensure they are routed to the appropriate specialist radiologist consultant promptly. Handover sheet to the administrator next slot. Maintain and send the Incident sheet to the manager. Communication Management: Act as a point of contact for radiologists& client consultants, and facilitate communication and resolve any issues or concerns. Manage communication between the teleradiology team and referring healthcare providers to ensure all diagnostic requests are addressed promptly. Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide basic technical support for teleradiology systems and ensure the smooth operation of software platforms used for remote image viewing and interpretation. Troubleshoot minor issues related to the transmission of images and reports and escalate technical issues with the support of support team when necessary. Quality Assurance: Assist with maintaining the quality of teleradiology services by monitoring the performance and accuracy of image interpretations. Support compliance with regulatory standards and internal protocols to ensure quality control in service delivery. Report Compilation & Analysis: Prepare regular reports on service usage, turnaround times, and any operational issues. Assist in compiling performance statistics and other metrics for internal review and improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, IT, or Radiography, or a related field preferred. At least 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare administrative or support role, preferably within radiology, teleradiology, or a related healthcare field. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with healthcare management software. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Basic technical troubleshooting skills related to medical imaging platforms. Work Environment: Excellent Office environment available. Flexibility in work hours may be required based on the teleradiology services’ operational hours.
