Job Description

Summary: As Vocational Centre Manager, you will oversee the entire operation of the vocational centre, ensuring efficient administration, delivery of high-quality training, and alignment with the Trust’s mission. Success in this role means the centre runs smoothly, training outcomes meet or exceed targets, and graduates move into meaningful roles. You will directly support the organisation by leading staff, managing resources and forging external partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic plans, policies and procedures for centre operations and align them with the Trust’s goals.
  • Manage all administrative functions including staffing, budgeting, resource procurement and facility maintenance.
  • Coordinate training programmes: Ensure curricula are industry-relevant and track performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Forge and maintain partnerships with employers, community organisations and stakeholders to enhance placement opportunities.
  • Monitor centre performance: Analyse data, prepare reports and act on insights to meet targets and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Lead, mentor and evaluate trainers and support staff, fostering a collaborative and outcome-focused environment.

Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership and organisational skills with proven management experience in a vocational training or NGO environment.
  • Diploma / Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in education, business administration, social sciences or related field.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in budgeting, administration, stakeholder management and programme evaluation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to lead diverse teams and build external relationships.

Location: Thane, Maharashtra, India (Full-time, on-site)
