Job Description

As an academic leader, your role will involve ensuring the effective implementation of the school's curriculum, teaching methodologies, and assessment practices. You will be responsible for monitoring lesson plans, classroom delivery, and student learning outcomes. Guiding and mentoring teachers in adopting innovative and child-centric practices will be a key part of your responsibilities. In terms of school operations and administration, you will oversee daily operations including timetable management, attendance tracking, discipline enforcement, and logistics. It will be essential to ensure adherence to safety, hygiene, and statutory compliance. Maintaining infrastructure and resources in line with school standards and implementing systems for smooth coordination between academic and support staff will also fall under your purview. Your role will also involve people management, where you will lead, mentor, and motivate teachers and non-teaching staff. Conducting regular performance reviews, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a collaborative, supportive, and growth-oriented culture within the school will be crucial for success in this position. When it comes to parent and community engagement, you will serve as the primary point of contact for parents on school-related matters. Conducting parent orientation programs, Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs), and workshops will be part of your responsibilities. Handling queries, feedback, and concerns with sensitivity and professionalism, as well as building strong parent-school partnerships for student success, will be integral to your role. In terms of student development, you will be responsible for ensuring the holistic growth of students in academics, extracurricular activities, and social-emotional well-being. Implementing discipline and behavior management systems aligned with school values, promoting inclusivity, and providing individual attention to diverse learning needs will be essential aspects of your role. From a business and growth perspective, you will drive student admissions and retention in line with school targets. Implementing strategies for marketing, outreach, and brand-building within the local community will be crucial. Monitoring budgets, resource utilization, and optimizing costs will also be part of your responsibilities.
