Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounts Payable Executive located in Delhi, India. The Accounts Payable Executive will be responsible for managing vendor and supplier invoices, processing payments, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate records. The role includes verifying and validating invoices, ensuring timely payment cycles, managing vendor queries, and assisting with month-end closing activities.

Responsibilities

• Timely and Accurate Bookkeeping:

  Ensure the timely booking of all purchase invoices, manage expenses, and oversee petty cash transactions

• Reconciliation and Reporting:

  Prepare and send creditors' aging reports, generate Eway bill reports, and perform regular reconciliation of purchases with Eway bills and vendor portals. You'll also work with the Compliance Manager to reconcile records with GSTR2B.

• Financial Integrity and Analysis:

  Ensure no advances are left in the vendor ledger, settle interbranch and interdivision balances monthly, and align ledgers in accounting software like Tally. You'll also analyze recurring expenses and make provisions for expenses with unreceived bills to ensure a timely month-end closing.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven 2-5 experience in an Accounts Payable role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency in software such as Tally.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
