Role Overview

Accounts Payable Executive

The role requires strong coordination with vendors and internal teams, attention to detail, and comfort working in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable & Vendor Management

• Process vendor invoices accurately after verifying supporting documents such as purchase orders, GRNs, and approvals.
• Prepare and process vendor payments (NEFT / RTGS / cheques) as per agreed credit terms.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies, short payments, and billing issues.
• Maintain vendor master data and ensure adherence to internal controls.

Accounting & Compliance

• Ensure proper accounting of expenses and liabilities in line with accounting standards.
• Handle

  TDS deduction, accounting, and coordination

  for timely deposits and returns, as applicable.
• Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Maintain proper documentation for audit and statutory compliance.

Coordination & Support

• Coordinate with procurement, stores, operations, and other internal teams for issue resolution.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required data and documentation.
• Assist the finance team with basic accounting support in other areas as required.

Candidate Profile

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
• M.Com or CA–Inter preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree holders in relevant disciplines may also apply.

Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in Accounts Payable or finance operations.
• Prior experience in a

  manufacturing environment

  is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Working knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliances (GST, TDS).
• Experience with

  Tally

  and strong working knowledge of

  Excel

  .
• Comfortable using email, accounting systems, and internal applications.
• Good communication skills;

  English is mandatory

  , with

  Kannada or Hindi

  strongly preferred.
• High level of accuracy, organisation, and follow-through.
