Qc Assistant

• Perform

  visual inspection

  of aluminium extrusions and finished products to identify surface defects and quality deviations.
• Carry out

  dimensional checks using VMM

  and other measuring instruments as per defined quality requirements.
• Ensure products meet specified dimensional and visual standards.

Mechanical Testing & Sample Preparation

• Prepare samples for

  mechanical testing

  as per standard procedures.
• Conduct

  UTS (Ultimate Tensile Strength) testing

  of products to ensure compliance with specified alloy standards.
• Operate testing equipment independently after completion of training.
• Interpret test results and highlight non-conformities for corrective action.

Coating & Surface Quality Checks

• Carry out

  coating thickness measurements

  and related surface quality checks.
• Ensure coating parameters meet internal quality requirements and customer specifications.

Documentation & Test Certification

• Prepare and maintain

  test certificates

  , inspection records, and quality reports.
• Ensure accuracy, traceability, and proper filing of all test data and documentation.
• Handle routine test-related queries from production and internal teams.

Coordination & Compliance

• Coordinate with production teams to ensure adherence to quality standards during manufacturing.
• Maintain quality records in line with company standards
  (IS / EN / ASTM / BIS / ISO).
• Follow safety, quality, and process discipline on the shop floor.

Candidate Profile

• ITI / Diploma in Engineering or Science disciplines
  (Mechanical, Metallurgy, Production, or related fields preferred)
• Bachelor's degree holders in relevant disciplines may also apply.

Experience

• Freshers are welcome.
• Prior exposure to QC, inspection, testing, or factory environments is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

• Ability and willingness to take ownership of routine testing and quality checks after training.
• Comfortable working with testing equipment and measurement tools.
• Reasonable computer knowledge for:
• Operating testing equipment
• Preparing reports and certificates
• Email communication and record maintenance
• Working knowledge of

  English

  is required.
• Knowledge of

  Kannada and Hindi

  is strongly preferred to communicate effectively with shop-floor and office teams.
• Strong attention to detail, discipline, and a structured approach to work.
