Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations related to sales bills, purchase bills, purchase orders, credit notes, order placement, store coordination, and customer payment follow-ups. The ideal candidate must possess complete working knowledge of MS Excel and have a proactive approach to maintaining accurate financial records and smooth coordination across departments. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Purchase Billing Prepare and maintain sales invoices and purchase bills accurately in accounting software. Ensure timely and error-free data entry and record keeping. Purchase Order Management Create, review, and manage purchase orders. Coordinate with vendors and the store team for timely deliveries. Credit Notes Handling Issue and record credit notes for returns, discounts, or billing errors. Maintain proper documentation for audit and reference. Order Placement & Store Coordination Process and place material orders as per requirement. Liaise with the store department for inventory updates and stock verification. Payment Follow-up Communicate with customers for outstanding payments. Maintain payment records, follow-up schedules, and resolve discrepancies. Excel & Data Management Maintain and update reports, ledgers, and summaries using advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.). Ensure accuracy and timeliness in monthly reconciliations and MIS reports. Requirements: Education: B.Com / M.Com or equivalent in Accounting or Finance Experience: 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting and store-related processes Skills: Proficient in Tally / accounting software Advanced MS Excel skills Strong knowledge of accounting principles Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines Good communication and coordination skills
