Dispatch Executive

Job Summary: The Packaging and Dispatch Executive is responsible for the day-to-day packaging of products in the factory, ensuring all goods are securely and accurately packed according to company standards. This role also includes the preparation of packaging slips and managing the timely dispatch of materials to customers or distribution centers. The position requires coordination with production, inventory, and logistics teams to maintain efficient workflow and accurate documentation. Key Responsibilities: Execute daily packaging activities according to product requirements and safety standards. Prepare and print packaging slips based on finalized dispatch lists or customer orders. Label and tag products accurately with batch numbers, barcodes, or other required identifiers. Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure the right quantity and quality of items are packed. Ensure packaging materials are available and report shortages to the supervisor. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packaging area. Update dispatch records and communicate dispatch details to logistics partners. Inspect packed materials for damages or discrepancies before dispatch. Ensure all documentation, including packaging slips and delivery challans, is complete and accurate. Follow all health and safety regulations and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Key Skills & Competencies:Knowledge of packaging processes and materials Attention to detail and accuracy Basic computer skills (MS Excel, packaging slip software, ERP preferred) Good communication and teamwork abilities Familiarity with logistics and dispatch procedures Educational Qualification: High School Diploma or equivalent (Minimum) Vocational training or certification in packaging/logistics is a plus Experience:1–3 years of experience in a factory setting, preferably in packaging or dispatch operations
