Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Book and schedule loads
through load boards, broker relationships, and direct shippers.
Negotiate rates
with brokers to maximize profitability.
Assign drivers
to loads based on availability, location, and route optimization.
Track and monitor shipments
to ensure on-time pickup and delivery.
Maintain constant communication
with drivers to provide support and resolve issues in real-time.
Update load details
in the dispatch system, ensuring accuracy in all documentation (Rate Cons, BOLs, PODs).
Coordinate with accounting
for driver settlements and broker invoicing.
Build long-term relationships
with brokers and customers to secure consistent freight.
Monitor compliance
with DOT regulations, driver hours, and safety policies.
