Monitor driver locations, track load status, and resolve any delays or route issues in real-time. Negotiate rates with freight brokers to ensure profitable loads. Maintain accurate records of dispatch logs, load details, and communications. Ensure driver compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations, including hours of service (HOS). Use dispatch and load board software such as DAT, Truckstop, McLeod, KeepTruckin, and others. Manage emergency situations such as vehicle breakdowns, accidents, or route changes.
