From understanding what they click, to why they drop off, to how we can increase conversions and make their journey smoother — this role is a blend of product thinking, analytics, user psychology, and visual content. About the Role We manufacture everything in-house at our own factory (4000 sq ft) based in Delhi (Lawrence Road Industrial Area). This is a full time on-site role where you'll be overseeing the ops of the company. You'll be responsible for every single batch of product that goes out to the users. Everything from raw material planning, stock keeping, cost management, manpower planning, production plan, quality testing, product shelf life management, packaging oversight, delivery and dispatch coordination, etc. would be a part of your scope. Of course there'll be several people in the team who you'd be overseeing towards the achievement of these objectives. As co-founder you are going to be involved in other affairs of the company as well, but these would be the key areas aligned with you. Decisions You'll Be Making Planning ahead - how many people do we need? Planning hiring, retention, and growth for our blue collar talent. Everything related to management of the production personnel. How to improve shelf life? Working with food consultants, food technologists, karigars, etc. to improve shelf life of the product on an ongoing basis - all while keeping it clean. Which vendors should we buy from? Working on product costing, and deciding what to buy from where to optimize cost without compromising on standards. Which products to outsource vs make in-house? Uphold our standards with any contractors we might choose to work with. What should the production plan look like this week? Keep in mind the daily sales trend, plan ahead of time, to avoid over and under stocking. When an order comes, we should be stocked. How can we innovate further on our packaging to ensure that the product reaches the users safely? Users trust us to get their products right to them. How do we ensure that happens every single time. Maintaining and reviewing cost, wastage, production on a regular basis to ensure we're running a tight ship. Qualifications 7+ years of working experience Experience working in the food industry. Experience with the type of products we do would be a huge plus Direct experience managing blue collar workers Strong with numbers and ability to manage multiple moving pieces together Should have previously led a team in an operational setup Ability to communicate well with all team members and keep members in sync Compensation, Equity No salary to begin with. All founders would mutually decide when would be a good time to start drawing salaries. Definitely not before achieving break even. Up to 10% equity depending on the experience.
