Job Description: Accounts Manager (Restaurant Industry)
Position: Accounts Manager
Experience Required: Minimum 7 years in accounting/finance, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant sector
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting & Reporting:
Oversee all accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliations.
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
Monitor restaurant revenue, cost of sales, payroll, and operating expenses.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Develop annual budgets alongside senior management.
Track budget versus actuals to ensure operating within financial targets.
Provide financial forecasts for new initiatives or expansion.
Cash Flow & Working Capital Management:
Manage timely payments, cash flows, and liquidity.
Prepare weekly and monthly cash flow reports and provide recommendations for improving liquidity.
Audit & Compliance:
Coordinate internal and external audits.
Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements (GST, TDS, income tax, etc.).
Maintain all necessary financial controls and documentation.
Inventory & Cost Control:
Review procurement, inventory management, and wastage control systems.
Work closely with chefs and procurement teams to optimize food and beverage costs.
Team Leadership:
Supervise and mentor the accounts team.
Conduct training sessions for best accounting practices and statutory changes.
Vendor & Banking Relations:
Manage relationships with banks, credit institutions, and key vendors.
Negotiate payment terms to optimize operational cash flow.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/ICWA or MBA Finance preferred)
Minimum 7 years of accounting experience; at least 2 years in a managerial role
Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality accounting is valued
Strong knowledge of statutory compliances applicable to restaurants (GST, VAT, TDS, etc.)
Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, ERP)
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and leadership skills
Good communication and team management abilities

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
