Tandoor Chef de Partie (CDP) Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Tandoor Chef de Partie to lead our tandoor section with creativity, precision, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have expertise in traditional Indian tandoori cooking methods and a strong understanding of marination, grilling, and clay oven techniques. You will be responsible for maintaining food quality, hygiene standards, and smooth operations of the tandoor section. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, cook, and present authentic tandoori dishes including kebabs, rotis, naans, and grilled items. Ensure all tandoor recipes and procedures are followed consistently. Supervise and train junior kitchen staff in the tandoor section. Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the tandoor area in compliance with food safety standards. Maintain inventory and ensure availability of all necessary ingredients and tools. Monitor food portioning, waste control, and presentation standards. Work closely with the Head Chef to develop new tandoori items and seasonal menus. Handle equipment with care and report maintenance needs. Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner during service hours. Requirements: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in tandoor cooking, with at least 1 year in a CDP role.
