Accounts Head

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Accounting Manager to lead end-to-end accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in accounting tools like Zoho Books, strong audit knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting & Analysis

- Preparation and analysis of center-wise Profit & Loss (P&L) statements

- Facility-level budgeting and variance tracking

- Generating settlement and reconciliation reports

- Preparing Cash Flow Statements for planning and monitoring

2. Statutory Compliance

- Timely filing of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and Professional Tax

- Ensuring compliance with loan terms and maintaining proper documentation

- Management of licences and regulatory returns

3. Book Closure & Audit Support

- Liaising with external Chartered Accountants to finalize books of accounts

- Preparing for internal and statutory audits

- Ensuring accuracy in vendor and partner reconciliations (e.g., Cult, vendors)

4. Daily Operational Accounting

- Managing daily cash reconciliation across all locations

- Tracking and closing vendor payables and receivables

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce

- Experience: 810 years of progressive experience in accounting and compliance

Software Proficiency:

- Must be familiar with: Zoho Books

- Preferred knowledge of: Tally ERP, QuickBooks, SAP Business One, Busy Accounting, Marg ERP, Xero

Other Skills:

- Strong grasp of audit procedures, compliance laws, and financial reporting standards

- Effective communication and coordination with internal teams and external auditors

- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and handle high-volume transactions
