Accounts Head

Role Overview

The Head of Accounts is responsible for leading the Accounts Department, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, effective management of receivables & payables, and providing strategic financial insights to support business growth. This role requires strong leadership, analytical ability, and in-depth knowledge of accounting standards and financial management practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Management & Reporting
• Oversee preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Monitor and control general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Budgeting & Forecasting
• Lead the budgeting process in coordination with department heads.
• Monitor budget utilization and provide variance analysis.
• Provide financial forecasts and cash flow projections.
• Audit & Compliance
• Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors for timely completion of audits.
• Ensure compliance with taxation, corporate laws, and regulatory filings.
• Maintain accurate documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
• Team Leadership & Development
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts team.
• Allocate responsibilities and monitor performance.
• Foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Strategic Support
• Provide financial insights to management for decision-making.
• Support business expansion, investment, and cost-control initiatives.
• Ensure effective treasury management, fund allocation, and working capital optimization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
