Accounts Head

We have an Urgent opening for “Accounts Head” for our organization Indian Chain Pvt. Ltd. for Kolkata location.

Company profile: Manufacturing (Engineering).

Key responsibilities:

· Financial Reporting and Compliance:

o Oversee the preparation and analysis of accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

o Ensure compliance with balance sheet filling/GST filing.

o Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring all necessary documentation is provided and findings are addressed promptly.

o Manage control outstanding payments (debtors).

· Accounting Operations:

o Supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.

o Establish and enforce internal controls to safeguard assets, prevent fraud, and ensure accurate financial reporting.

o Implement and maintain efficient accounting processes and systems, leveraging technology for automation and improved efficiency.

· Leadership and Team Development:

o Lead and mentor the accounts team, setting clear objectives.

o Mentor and develop team members, providing training and opportunities for professional growth.

o Build a collaborative and performance-driven work environment.

· Collaboration and Communication:

o Communicate financial performance and updates to management, auditors, and regulators in a clear, concise manner.

· Experience:

· Must have 9 to 16years of working experience required.

Qualifications: (Required all the fields).

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

· Proven experience in an accounting leadership role (e.g., Accounting Manager, Senior Accountant) with a strong track record of success.

· Proficiency in financial management software Tally, ERP systems and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.

· Should have knowledge of GST.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
