Accounts Executive

Job DescriptionWe are hiring an Accounts Executive to join our team at Gupta Textile. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting overall financial management of the company. This role requires attention to detail, good knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to handle day-to-day accounts independently. Key Responsibilities Maintain day-to-day accounting entries including sales, purchase, expenses, credit/debit notes, and ledgers. Handle accounts payable and receivable, including vendor bills, payments, customer invoices, and follow-ups. Prepare and reconcile bank statements, cash book, and petty cash. Assist in preparing monthly/quarterly financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, Cash Flow). Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory filings, ensuring compliance with deadlines. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary records and documentation. Coordinate with banks for transactions such as RTGS/NEFT, LC, and other financial activities. Maintain proper records of inventory-related accounting and coordinate with the stores/production team for stock reconciliation. Provide regular MIS reports to management for decision-making. Assist in cost analysis and budgeting. Requirements Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com) or Diploma in Accounting/Finance. 1–3 years of experience as an Accounts Executive/Accountant (manufacturing sector preferred). Hands-on experience in Tally ERP, GST returns, and MS Excel. Strong understanding of accounting principles and statutory compliance. Good communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
