Role Overview

The Accountant will manage daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, support taxation compliance, and prepare financial reports. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented with good knowledge of accounting principles and software tools.

Key Responsibilities1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Maintain daily accounting entries in Tally/ERP/Zoho Books or company software.
  • Record sales, purchase, payment, receipt, and journal vouchers.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.

2. Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Generate MIS reports for management review.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting.

3. Taxation & Compliance

  • Handle GST billing, filing, and reconciliation.
  • Manage TDS deduction, calculation, and return filing.
  • Coordinate with auditors for statutory and internal audits.

4. Bank & Cash Management

  • Perform daily/weekly bank reconciliations.
  • Manage petty cash and ensure proper documentation.
  • Follow up for collections and process vendor payments.

5. Inventory & Asset Management

  • Maintain updated stock records and reconcile inventory.
  • Track fixed assets and depreciation.

6. Coordination & Support

  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and management for financial accuracy.
  • Provide required data to auditors, vendors, and management.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
  • 1–5 years of accounting experience (freshers with strong skills may apply).
  • Good knowledge of Tally, Excel, GST, and TDS compliance.

  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good communication and confidentiality skills.
  • Ability to work under deadlines.

Additional Benefits / Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of Zoho Books or other cloud-based accounting software will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in FMCG/Frozen Food industry (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Advanced Excel or MIS reporting skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,641.76 - ₹29,396.15 per month
