Job Title: Accountant (with International Experience)

Job Summary:

The Accountant will be responsible for managing the company’s financial records, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards, and handling multi-currency transactions. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in international accounting practices, cross-border taxation, and global financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS / GAAP).
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Handle multi-currency transactions, foreign exchange adjustments, and consolidation of international accounts.
• Coordinate with foreign clients, vendors, and auditors regarding international payments and compliance.
• Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and compliance with international tax regulations (TDS, VAT, GST, etc.).
• Support the preparation of budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow statements for global operations.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors for annual audits across multiple jurisdictions.
• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data accuracy.
• Provide financial analysis and reports to management for decision-making.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• Professional Qualification (Preferred): CA / CPA / ACCA or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 3–7 years of accounting experience with at least 2–3 years in international operations.
• Knowledge of: IFRS / US GAAP / International Taxation / Transfer Pricing.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems, and MS Excel.
• Language Skills: Strong command of English; additional foreign language is an advantage.
