About the Role:

Vyrian is seeking a detail-driven and proactive Accountant to join our finance team. This role is focused on Accounts Payable, banking, and credit card transaction management, and plays a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our financial reporting processes.


Key Responsibilities


Quarterly

  • Assist in the production of quarterly financial reports.
  • Maintain a robust accounting records system.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and banking regulations.
  • Support enhancements to financial reporting and internal controls.


Monthly

  • Reconcile corporate bank accounts.
  • Reconcile all company credit card transactions.
  • Post payroll-related journal entries accurately and on time.


Daily

  • Record all transactions from bank accounts into QuickBooks in real-time.
  • Record all credit card transactions in QuickBooks.
  • Conduct expense analysis and submit reports to the CEO.
  • Review and approve supplier payments after validating with QuickBooks and work orders.


Additional Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare variance analysis and financial insights for management.
  • Submit required reports and documentation to banking partners.
  • Monitor company debt and ensure compliance with financing agreements.
  • Collaborate across departments to uphold financial accuracy and operational efficiency.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, ideally in a CPA firm or tax consulting.
  • 5 years of hands-on experience with QuickBooks.
  • High attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Strong communication skills and analytical mindset.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge.
