Accountant

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Accountant to manage the company’s financial operations, including bookkeeping, vendor payments, inventory reconciliation, and monthly reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, experience in managing accounts for FMCG and hospitality businesses, and the ability to work independently in a growing, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping:

• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions in accounting software (Tally/Zoho).
• Manage daily bookkeeping, including entries for sales, purchases, expenses, and inventory.
• Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and inter-company balances.

2. Invoicing & Payments:

• Prepare and issue invoices to B2B and retail clients.
• Track receivables and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Manage vendor payments, petty cash, and reimbursements.
• Ensure timely payment of statutory dues (GST, TDS, PF, etc.).

3. Financial Reporting:

• Prepare monthly P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Support management in budgeting and financial forecasting.
• Provide financial insights to optimize operational costs and improve profitability.

4. Compliance & Audit:

• Coordinate with auditors for annual audits and ensure all statutory filings are accurate and up to date.
• Maintain compliance with GST, TDS, and other applicable tax regulations.
• Manage proper documentation for all financial transactions.

5. Coordination & Support:

• Work closely with the Operations and Procurement teams for vendor and inventory reconciliation.
• Assist management in preparing reports for investors, banks, and internal reviews.
• Support financial planning for new product launches and business expansion.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance (CA Inter / Semi-qualified CA preferred).
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the FMCG or food & beverage industry.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other Indian accounting standards.
• Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software.
• Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and time-management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
