Accountant Executive

Role Overview: As an Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger accounts and subsidiary ledgers. You will also be involved in preparing financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in reconciling bank statements, accounts, and other financial data to ensure accuracy. Your expertise will be required in tax compliance, budgeting, financial analysis, auditing, reporting, and providing financial advice to management. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records - Prepare financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements - Reconcile bank statements, accounts, and other financial data - Ensure tax compliance and prepare tax returns - Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting - Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement - Conduct internal audits and support external audits - Prepare and present financial reports to management and stakeholders - Provide financial advice and recommendations to management Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with a strong foundation in accounting principles - Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP - Analytical and problem-solving skills - Attention to detail - Strong communication skills to effectively convey financial information - Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines - Knowledge of relevant regulations and laws related to accounting and tax Please note that the job description also includes additional responsibilities which may vary depending on the role and company, such as cost accounting, internal controls development, and system implementation.
