Accountant

We are looking for a responsible Accountant to handle day-to-day accounting, billing, GST, and basic compliance work. The candidate should ensure accurate financial records, timely reporting, and coordination with management and external consultants. Key Responsibilities (Daily / Routine Work) 1. Daily Accounting & Bookkeeping Enter daily sales, purchase, and expense entries Maintain cash book, bank book, and ledger accounts Reconcile cash and bank balances daily Track petty cash and office expenses 2. Billing & Invoicing Prepare sales invoices (GST & non-GST) Maintain invoice records and dispatch details Follow up on outstanding receivables Maintain customer and vendor ledgers 3. GST & Compliance Support Prepare data for GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) Reconcile sales, purchases, and ITC Maintain GST records, e-way bills, and challans Coordinate with CA / tax consultant 4. Purchase & Vendor Management Record purchase bills and expenses Verify GST, rates, and quantities on bills Track vendor payments and due dates Maintain outstanding payable reports 5. Payroll & HR Accounting Prepare salary sheets Maintain attendance and wage records Handle PF / ESIC data preparation (if applicable) Maintain staff advance and recovery records 6. Reporting & MIS Prepare daily / weekly MIS reports Share outstanding receivable & payable reports Assist in profit & cost analysis Maintain stock-related financial records (coordination with store) 7. Office & Documentation Work Maintain vouchers and supporting documents Handle basic office accounting coordination Assist during audits and inspections Software & Skills Required Tally / Busy / Zoho Books (any one mandatory) MS Excel (basic to intermediate) GST basics knowledge Good understanding of accounts & vouchers Qualification & Experience B.Com / M.Com preferred 2–5 years experience in accounts role Experience in manufacturing / trading business preferred Reporting To Director / Finance Manager
