Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage the company’s day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, billing, payroll processing, vendor payments, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should have experience handling accounts in IT/BPO or service-based organizations and should be well-versed with Tally, GST, TDS, and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: Maintain daily books of accounts in Tally or similar accounting software. Prepare and manage invoices, receipts, and vendor payments. Handle bank reconciliations, journal entries, and cash flow tracking. Manage employee payroll, salary disbursement, and expense reimbursements. Ensure timely GST, TDS, and PF/ESI filing and compliance. Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and MIS reports. Coordinate with auditors, vendors, and management for financial audits. Maintain documentation for all purchase orders, bills, and project-wise expenditures. Support management with budget forecasting, profitability tracking, and cost control. Required Skills: Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles (GAAP) Experience with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and PF/ESI filings Good command over Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain accuracy
