Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the financial operations of our organization. The role includes handling financial statements, accounts, and compliance, along with ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions. The candidate will also oversee GST compliance as part of the responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts. Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including processing invoices, receipts, and payments. Assist in budgeting and forecasting to ensure effective financial planning. Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Support payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements. Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation. Implement and maintain effective financial controls and procedures. Ensure GST compliance, including filing GST returns, reconciling Input Tax Credit (ITC), and addressing GST-related queries. Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and ensure the organization’s compliance. Provide financial insights and recommendations to management. Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred). Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar). Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and financial tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
