Job Summary: The Accounts, Taxation, Payable & Receivable Manager is responsible for managing the financial operations of the company. This role involves overseeing accounts payable and receivable, handling invoicing processes, ensuring compliance with taxation laws, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial processes, and experience in managing both accounts and tax-related tasks. Key Responsibilities: Accounts Management: Maintain and oversee the company's general ledger and ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Reconcile accounts on a regular basis, including bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Taxation: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal tax regulations. Prepare and file tax returns, including GST, income tax, and other applicable taxes. Handle tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities with support from existing accounting team members. Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations and advise the management accordingly. Accounts Payable Management: Oversee the processing of vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Manage the disbursement of funds, including checks and electronic transfers. Maintain relationships with vendors and resolve any payment discrepancies or issues. Accounts Receivable Management: Manage the billing process and ensure that invoices are issued accurately and on time. Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue payments. Handle customer queries related to billing and payments. Implement strategies to improve the collection process and reduce receivables outstanding. Invoicing: Generate and send invoices to clients and customers. Track and monitor invoicing cycles and ensure accuracy. Work closely with the sales and operations teams to resolve any invoicing issues. Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review. Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Internal Controls & Compliance: Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Participate in internal and external audits and implement audit recommendations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Professional certification. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting and taxation. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally), ERP software and MS Office Suite. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and tax laws. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. Key Competencies: Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Team management skills.
