Job Description

An Account Manager in a sales role is responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts, and driving revenue growth. They act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing communications, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Essentially, they bridge the gap between the company and its clients, ensuring both needs are met. Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management:Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, acting as their primary point of contact.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution:Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and achieve sales targets, often involving upselling and cross-selling.
  • Account Planning and Management:Create and execute strategic account plans, identifying opportunities for growth and aligning client needs with company solutions.
  • Customer Needs Fulfillment:Understand client requirements, coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services, and resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Reporting and Analysis:Prepare and deliver account reviews, performance reports, and analysis to stakeholders, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Business Development:Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts, contributing to overall sales growth.
  • Collaboration:Work closely with sales, marketing, and other internal teams to ensure client needs are met and to drive account growth.
  • Contract Management:Manage contract renewals, negotiate agreements, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Problem Solving:Address client inquiries and issues promptly and effectively, ensuring a positive customer experience.

  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial for building rapport with clients and effectively collaborating with internal teams.
  • Sales and Negotiation Skills:Strong sales acumen and negotiation skills are essential for identifying opportunities, closing deals, and driving revenue growth.
  • Customer Relationship Management:Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing excellent customer service.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills:Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and solve complex problems to meet client needs.
  • Organization and Time Management:Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Product Knowledge:Understanding of the company's products and services, and the ability to explain their value to clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
