Job Description

Role Overview: The Account Manager's multi-faceted position involves representing a client's opportunity to potential candidates, recommending the most suitable physician candidate for the specific opportunity, and serving as the liaison between Healthcare and the physician throughout the assignment. Additionally, the Account Manager will negotiate ancillary expenses of locum tenens placement on a case-by-case basis. Collaboration with the Business Development Consultant and the Physician Recruiter is key to successfully filling open assignments for client facilities within their dedicated specialty. Key Responsibilities: - Successfully manage external vendors and service providers, executing contracts and partnering with them to align services with internal strategic plans and goals. - Consult with healthcare facilities on staffing needs and coordinate the search for providers that match clients" staffing vacancies. - Act as the primary point of contact for client decision-makers and physicians currently on assignment. - Utilize problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to address issues with clients and providers. - Collaborate with the recruiting team to source and recruit potential candidates meeting the requirements of open requisitions. - Ensure each placement delivers the best possible locum tenens experience for both the facility and the provider. - Allocate specific resources for each program while maintaining resource levels and quality standards.
