Accounts Head

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, balance sheets, and statements in compliance with regulatory and internal accounting standards.
• Manage

  month-end and year-end closing processes

  , including journal entries, reconciliations, and preparation of financial reports.
• Review and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
• Prepare and review

  tax returns

  , compliance reports, and other statutory filings in coordination with auditors and consultants.
• Supervise and mentor a

  team of 10 accountants

  , reviewing their work for accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
• Liaise with

  auditors, tax consultants, and external stakeholders

  for audits, filings, and financial reviews.
• Assist in developing and implementing

  internal controls, accounting policies, and process improvements.

• Monitor

  accounts payable and receivable

  , ensuring timely processing and proper reporting.
• Maintain and update the

  Fixed Asset Register

  — track additions, disposals, and depreciation schedules.
• Support the preparation and review of

  Tax Audit Reports

  and ensure compliance with relevant tax and accounting laws.
• Handle

  account finalization

  and assist in preparing management reports for decision-making.
• Perform any other accounting or compliance-related tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Education:

  CA Inter / ICWAI / Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/CPA preferred).

• Experience:

  6–8 years of experience in accounting, with at least 5 years in a

  senior or supervisory role.

• Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in

  Tally

  and ERP-based accounting systems.
• Strong working knowledge of

  MS Excel

  and financial reporting tools.
• Sound understanding of

  GST, Income Tax, and Company Law

  .

• Preferred Background:

  Experience in an

  audit firm

  or a

  manufacturing organization.
