Account Head

Key Responsibilities: 1. Accounting & Financial Oversight: Review of TALLY ERP-based accounting records and trial balance on a monthly basis. Ensure the proper implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) by the accounts team. Review and finalize monthly financial and management reports. Coordinate with site accounts teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in accounting practices. 2. Audit & Compliance: Handle queries and requirements related to statutory and internal audits. Ensure timely and accurate completion of statutory financial audits and tax audits (including Transfer Pricing). 3. Direct & Indirect Taxation: Oversee preparation and filing of income tax returns, TDS, advance tax, AIR, equalization levy, etc. Manage GST/SEZ-related filings, refunds, reconciliations, and litigation support. Maintain and circulate monthly tax MIS reports. 4. Corporate Finance & Mergers: Support M&A activities by conducting financial due diligence. Prepare financial models for business analysis, acquisition, and restructuring decisions. 5. Team Leadership & Coordination: Lead the accounts and taxation teams across various locations. Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams like finance, tax, and operations to achieve organizational objectives. Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) or ICWA mandatory. Experience: Minimum 15+ years in accounting, taxation, and audit roles. Skills: Proficiency in Tally ERP environments. Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, tax laws, and corporate compliance. Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills. Ability to handle financial due diligence and complex financial modeling.
