Our Customer Success team sits at the heart of Scatter. We partner with clients to shape their content marketing strategy, drive measurable outcomes, and build long-term business growth.

Account Group Head

 

Responsibilities


  • Act as a

    strategic partner

    for clients, aligning their business and marketing goals with impactful content solutions.
  • Lead and grow client relationships by identifying upsell opportunities and creating long-term growth roadmaps.
  • Provide

    marketing-led direction

    to internal teams, ensuring briefs are not just executed but optimized for client success.
  • Forecast, plan, and track revenue growth across accounts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Facilitate strategic conversations with clients to explore new opportunities, address challenges, and co-create innovative plans.
  • Stay on top of content marketing trends, bringing insights that inspire both clients and internal teams.
  • Be the

    problem-solver and steady hand

    , ensuring delivery excellence under pressure while keeping focus on the bigger picture.


What Does a Typical Day Look Like?


  • Partner with clients to translate their business objectives into content marketing strategies.
  • Guide and mentor junior members of the team to ensure their work drives measurable impact.
  • Review and refine briefs with a marketing lens, keeping deliverables aligned with brand and business goals.
  • Forecast account performance and proactively identify opportunities and risks.
  • Lead client conversations on growth, innovation, and problem-solving.
  • Share industry insights and inspire fresh ideas across teams.
  • Balance strategic leadership with on-the-ground decision-making when challenges arise.


How You Measure Your Growth


In 3 Months

  • Build a strong understanding of Scatter’s processes, offerings, and client portfolio.
  • Earn trust with clients and internal teams by demonstrating strategic thinking.
  • Start contributing to client conversations with insights that go beyond execution.

In 6 Months

  • Establish clear processes and growth roadmaps for your team.
  • Own client growth plans, creating and executing upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Shape strategies by balancing creativity with business impact.

In 12 Months

  • Be recognized as a

    trusted advisor

    by clients, driving their content marketing evolution.
  • Lead clients into new marketing avenues that deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Act as the go-to leader internally for problem solving, mentorship, and thought leadership.


What You Bring to the Table



  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of B2B experience

    in a client-facing role at a publisher or agency, with a strong marketing foundation.
  • A

    strategic mindset

    with the ability to connect marketing objectives to content solutions.
  • Hands-on experience in

    content marketing, branded content, or digital marketing

    , with proven success in growing accounts.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to forecast, plan, and deliver business growth.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to influence clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
