Account Executive

An accountant prepares and maintains financial records, analyzes financial data, and ensures compliance with tax laws and regulations. Key responsibilities include creating financial reports, managing budgets and cash flow, performing audits, and providing financial advice to management to support business decisions. Core duties and responsibilities

• Record and maintain financial data: Accurately record all financial transactions and maintain the general ledger.
• Prepare financial statements: Create and review financial reports like balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Perform financial analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide insights to management.
• Manage budgets and forecasts: Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts to help the company plan for the future.
• Ensure compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting principles (like GAAP).
• Handle tax matters: Prepare and file tax returns, and advise on strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
• Reconcile accounts: Reconcile bank statements and other accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
• Process payments and invoices: Review vendor invoices, process payments, and manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Support audits: Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations.
