About the Role We are looking to onboard a strategic advisor with strong grounding in M&A, capital markets, and listed company advisory , ideally from a top law firm . This is a client-facing advisory role where legal insight meets stakeholder strategy. You’ll work closely with our capital markets, Strategic Communications and corporate reputation teams to help clients navigate public disclosures, market-sensitive events, large transactions, shareholder communications, regulatory developments (SEBI, RBI, etc.), and boardroom advisory — all through the lens of reputation risk and compliance narrative. Key Responsibilities: Partner with clients during M&A, IPOs, fundraises, delistings, and other capital market events to shape accurate and regulatory-compliant communications. Advise listed companies on regulatory disclosures, investor updates, governance matters, and risk-sensitive developments. Anticipate stakeholder response during business transitions (e.g., leadership changes, transactions, investigations, shareholder activism). Collaborate with in-house teams and external legal/IR advisors to align strategy and messaging. Draft and review position papers, advisories, holding statements, and stakeholder briefs. Key Skills: Strong command of SEBI, Companies Act, Listing Regulations, Takeover Code, Insider Trading norms, etc. Sound understanding of transaction structuring, due diligence, and disclosure requirements. Ability to simplify legal and regulatory complexity for non-legal stakeholders. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to advise clients during high-stakes interactions. Strategic thinking with risk and reputation awareness. Ideal Candidate Profile 4–6 years of experience at a top-tier law firm in M&A, capital markets, corporate governance. Experience advising promoters, boards, GCs, or CFOs of listed companies . Track record of handling disclosure-sensitive and time-critical client mandates. Degree in Law (LLB) is mandatory. Additional certifications in corporate governance, financial markets, or communications are a plus. High discretion, maturity, and an interest in transitioning from pure legal to strategic client advisory. Why Join Us?
