Account Assistant

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Office Accountant Assistant with additional responsibilities in dispatch coordination and export documentation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, has a knack for numbers, and understands the importance of accurate documentation in export operations. Key Responsibilities:Accounting Assistance:Assist the accountant with daily bookkeeping, data entry, and invoice processing. Maintain records of accounts payable and receivable. Prepare basic financial reports and reconciliations. Support with expense tracking and petty cash management. Help organize and maintain financial documents and files. Dispatch & Export Documentation:Coordinate dispatch of goods and ensure accurate tracking of shipments. Prepare and verify export documents such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin. Liaise with shipping companies, freight forwarders, and customs as needed. Ensure all export documentation complies with legal and company requirements. Maintain organized records of all dispatch and export documents for audit and reference. Assist with follow-ups and communication with customers and vendors regarding shipments. Requirements:Proven experience in office administration, accounting support, or a similar role. Familiarity with export documentation processes is an advantage. Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping. Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Optional: Knowledge of GST, TDS, or other tax-related procedures is a plus. Experience with ERP software or export documentation platforms is a bonus.
