As the Academic Head at Regenesys School of Technology, your role involves leading and managing a faculty of PhD and Masters level technology academic experts. You will inspire innovation, foster a collaborative academic environment, and drive the growth of technology programs to empower future industry leaders. Your responsibilities include: - **Academic Leadership:** - Lead and manage a faculty of technology experts, ensuring high academic standards aligned with global industry trends. - Collaborate with academic teams to develop, implement, and review technology programs for producing job-ready graduates. - Promote a culture of research and development in technology education. - **Program Development & Quality Assurance:** - Oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of forward-thinking technology programs aligned with industry needs. - Ensure differentiation and relevance across NQF levels, avoiding content overlap. - Quality assure academic materials, workbooks, and digital content. - **Assessment Management:** - Quality assurance of formative and summative assessments, aligning with program objectives. - External moderation of exit-level exam papers and final assessments. - Review and ensure integrity and consistency in assessment results. - **Faculty & Student Support:** - Mentor academic staff, providing developmental feedback and performance management support. - Monitor facilitators and e-tutors for high-quality program delivery. - Address academic queries, support at-risk students, and manage dropout rates. - **Research & Publications:** - Supervise postgraduate research students and contribute to peer-reviewed journals. - **Sustainability & Growth:** - Monitor enrollment numbers and collaborate with sales and marketing teams to meet growth targets. - Participate in marketing and recruitment initiatives. - Keep programs competitive and sustainable through market-relevant adaptations. **Requirements:** - Masters degree in a technology-related field (PhD preferred). - 3-5 years of managing academic experts (7+ years preferred). - Ability to lead academic teams, manage program delivery, and maintain high standards. - Strong research background for publications and thought leadership. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with staff and students.,
